When starting a conversation or sharing news from your Newsfeed, hitting enter on your keyboard posts the update instead of inserting a line between 2 sentences. This can get very annoying when you’re trying to post a neat conversation.
Click SHIFT + ENTER to make line breaks. (This works in Facebook too by the way when replying to posts).
Links are longer in SharePoint 2013. (So much for all our clean link management in SharePoint 2010 hey…).
You can manage the look of your links in your Newsfeed. Whenever you insert a link into your Start a Conversation box, it brings up an extra setting for Display As.
If you click on that link, it lets you change it to text. Don’t forget to click the tick to the right to save it, then click post.
And voila! You have what we like to call, a sexy link! 🙂
Atleast in Office365 the link shortening is working only if the link is from the same environmet (URL).
