Can you believe it’s 23 years old now? I joined the party when it was only 5 years old. What a transformation it has gone through. It is such a part of my life now. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t learn something new about this platform. I feel like we’re two grumpy old people on a porch fighting about stupid stuff, both of us having gone slightly insane. What a journey. What has your journey been like with it?
I can’t either anymore. How do businesses run without it I wonder?

I started working with SharePoint 2007 in 2007 to experiment with creating an Intranet. With the help of knowledgeable consultants over the years, my organization migrated to 2013 and 2019 on-prem. I appreciate its ability to support team communications and document management. It has been one of the favourite parts of my varied roles working in IT over the years. Happy Birthday, SharePoint! You’ve come a long way, baby. So have you, Veronique. I enjoyed tapping into your posts and knowledge over the years too.

I love SharePoint too! Our first Intranet was SharePoint 2007, so we have also experienced its growth and development first-hand. SharePoint has made all the difference to our business every single day since then. We can’t imagine working without it.
