New Photo Editing Options in SharePoint Online

There are 2 new image editing toys in SharePoint Online.

Click on any image inside any document library and you’ll see a new Edit option.

The first option is to crop and rotate. Use the controls on the bottom to rotate, move and crop your image. Use 1, 2 and 4 to move and rotate the image.

The Free option on the bottom gives you some presets too.

Adjustments allow you to change the brightness, exposure etc. Drag the controls to see what they do. You can also zoom into your image on the top.

Filter is great for people not well versed in the advanced controls above. It’s a quick click to apply.

Markup lets you draw and write on your image with various pens.

If you messed it up, you can click reset.

And when you’re done editing, you can either save over the original, or save it as a copy.

If you save it as a copy, it will display an uploading prompt.

And then show up in the library when complete.

The other new option is with images embedded into Site Pages. You can now change the shape of images using the presents displayed below.
