It’s very easy to forget where you came from and what your first years was like learning a new technology. Us veterans in the industry need to remember this. Most clients are 2 to 3 versions behind the latest version of SharePoint in the industry. The bulk of the business users – still – are all just newbies to this technology.
You cannot just throw every new shiny toy in Office / Microsoft 365 at business users. They are not IT people and they cannot deal with tech overload with the day jobs the majority of them have. Start with the basics first, then take it from there. And by basics I mean – get one document library right. Most people don’t understand the difference between a list and a library, make sure they understand this first or everything else will just fail.
