We are very pleased to announce that Information Worker (IW) is expanding to Durban.  SurfPoint here we come! 🙂

In case you don’t know, IW is a South African SharePoint user group currently in its 5th year.  We host events monthly in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and about to kick off the group in Durbs.

Our team leads in Durban are Andre Chapman, Emile Swanepoel and Mike Atkins. Welcome to the fold guys!

The first event ever will take place on 6 March 2012 at Bytes People Solutions training venue in 45 Cutting Road, Durbs.  Thanks for adopting the event Bytes. The session will be about Performance Point: Building Dashboards / Scorecards in Sharepoint 2007 with the obligatory drinks and snacks afterwards.

Registration for the event will open in first week of February on the IW site – save the date so long Durbanites.

For our Jhb crowd, our next event is on 14 February, (and yes we know, it’s Valentines Day ❤).  Nedbank, Outsurance and Vodacom are going to share their SharePoint “tails” with us.  It’s a combined IW / SBW session again.
